Supported Field Types via ODBC
Mach5 Mailer 4 supports the following field types via ODBC:

Int, String, Boolean, Date.

The following SQL types are supported via remapping:

Integer -> Int
VarChar ->String
Char -> String
Enum -> String
Date -> Date
DateTime ->Date
Boolean -> Boolean

some parts of the SQL data types are not supported:

Non-Standard Int sizes, Text, Blob, & Null value fields are all unsupported.

If you have any of the above fields, Mailer is likely to behave strangely.

If the field you are reading from is not listed in the supported field types, please DO NOT use it with Mailer. You're mailing may not function properly.

RE: Supported Field Types via ODBC
Rate Limiting is frequently implemented by ISP's. IF you have hit a message/hour limit, you can throttle the speed at which Mailer sends messages.

1. Open Mach5 Mailer and access the Program Options [ 'Mail'->'Program Options' on the TopMenu ]
2. Within the 'Sending Options' section of the 'Send Options' tab locate the 'Number of threads' setting
3. Reduce the number of threads to 1. This enables the 'Between threads, wait' setting.
4. Set the delay between threads to whatever number of seconds is required to stay below your ISP's throttling limit. (there are 3600 seconds in an hour)
5. Click 'OK' and save your Mailing.
