A set of solar cells configured in such a way that at least 1.5V will be produced and supply 200ma. Higher voltage output is better so an additional cell would be used. Also, in reality, there is an even higher voltage requirement due to the use of a blocking Diode (more on this Later, read on) Individual solar cells produce roughly 0.5v each, cells are configured into a panel to obtain higher voltages by wiring individual cells in series. personal and social development Panels can also be wired in series-parallel combinations to obtain just about any voltage current you need. THe limiting factor being cost and size.
