How does FastStats calculate Average Time per Session

I'm a virtual tour photographer and have begun using Mach5 Analyzer to provide some statistical information on my tours to my customers

Tried using Google Analytics and couldn't get a reliable Average Time per Session because the tours only have one .html/page which loads the several images on without loading more pages. GA reports a Bounce unless there are additional pages loaded.

What events does FastStats use to calculate Average Time per Session, so I know if I can rely on the times. They seem reasonable

In reviewing the stats for browsers viewing my web pages, I don't find Google Chrome anywhere. This is my default browser so there should be SOME hits in a given month. Is Chrome hiding under another name??

spam filters_response rate problem

We sent out a survey invitation through Mach5 and we're getting very very minimal responses. When we tested the invitation internally, it went to our Junkbox. There is clearly a spam filter problem and we tested the invitation content and it seeems strong for spam filters but the domain that we're using for "email from" part or something that Mach5 related may trigger spam filters. Can anyone help us or give us a call regarding to what we can do? I can give more specific information. Thanks

Mach5 Mailer not working cannot change port

Problems with restriction option

It happened a few times that the application does not accept the file with the list of restricted e-mails. We have a lot of problems with that, because the people are angry with us. They shouldn't get the e-mail, because they canceled the subscription.

What is the cause for this?

I've just sent a mail and the log looks like this

Hello Com,

i have a question regarding the mach5 mailer log.

at this moment i only get (as default) Email Adress and Status in tho logfile like

email@domain.com, 0

is there is any chance to extent this log ? need at least the used attachment from the datasource
like

email@domain.com,0, c:\letter.pdf

Upload Contained Errors or Inconsistencies

I have a simple database..

Email
Subscriber Name
and then a subscribe and unsubscribe radio button..

When trying to add a name manually. Going though the "Add an Entry" link

I fill in the proper information on the (https://www.mach5.com/subscriber/add.php) screen.

When i "Submit"

i receive the following error

I have not been able to add any new emails to my database in quite some tie because of this problem.. Please Help !!

Can MachMailer validate email addresses

Hi, I wanted to know if machMailer was able to validate email addresses before sending out. can anyone help answer this question and if it is possible, can you specify how.

I am not a machmailer expert either.

UTF-8 input / copy problem

I'm new user which is willing to buy Mach5 mailer but got sent out mail display trouble.

I've decided to use UTF-8 since it's a better standard than Big5 which will conflict and less characters.

My Windows XP set the "language for non-Unicode programs" to (Chinese-Taiwan) already.

I've set the "default merge encoding" to UTF-8, copying a passage of text from Notepad++ to HTML tab (Notepad++ shows "UTF-8), I found Mach5 mailer fail to display correctly, Chinese (UTF-8) all display in question marks, typing the word directly with IME (input method) is better, mailer can display correctly, but when sent out testing mail to Gmail, Gmail display garbage.

At last, I'm forced switch to Big5, copying a big5 from Notepad++ to mailer still not working, solution is save the text in HTM format (charset big5 in Notepad++), then drag the HTM file to Firefox, use CTRL-U (view source), then copy the source to mailer.

I doubt mailer did not complie in full Unicode SDK from Microsoft, causing all this chaos, I need to buy Mach5 mailer since I got project of mass email, but this problem really scare me.

Please advise.

Paid for a subscription and being told I'm over my daily limit

I paid $99 for Mach 5 Mailer. I have roughly 8,000 contacts in my list. However, after just a couple of hundred are successfully sent I start getting error messages that I am over my "daily limit." Then it starts saying "sent" again. Then I start getting a different error message that "resource temporarily unavailable." I also see a couple of error messages that say "Cannot send due to possible abuse."

Why are these things happening?

Can anybody help? I've used Gmail as my outgoing server and used their settings smtp@gmail.com, SSL, port 465. But I get the following error

I've set up to send my newsletter using Gmail as my SMTP server. Used the Gmail outgoing mail settings as described on their website - smtp.gmail.com, and SSL and port 465. But I get the following error when I send:

I have moved to new laptop, Windows 7, and migrated and then reinstalled the software, the previous laptop was also on version 7.
Registration successful but as soon as I try and create or load a prrofile, i get "Unspecified Error" and the software crashed out. Popmonger works out of interest.

Sending Error with Cox SMTP

I have been using Mach5 Mailer for a year and a half with no problems. Today, I tried to send a message and got the following log:

I have not changed any settings. My Cox email through Outlook 2010 still works fine. Cox did change their SMTP server name from smtp.central.cox.net to just smtp.cox.net, but it fails either way. I tried calling Cox tech support, and they insisted that it was not their fault, and the problem must be with Mach5 Mailer.

I am running Windows 7 (English). I tried updating Mach5 Mailer from 4.5.0.9 to 4.5.0.10, but that didn't help, nor did rebooting. I had encryption set to TLS (don't remember setting that), but None doesn't work either. I am using and Access 2010 query for my data source, as always (that was the main feature I was looking for when I bought Mach5, by the way).

attachments and ms access 2010

The HTML is working the embedded graphics are working but my attachments for different recipients is not. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong. This is accessing a MS Access 2010 database. I am using VB, the database from all I can tell is nonexclusive mode and it is coming back telling me it is locked or in use.

Different Attachments using Mailer

I have set up a page using HTML in the mailer. I need to be able to use different attachments for different recipients using ACCESS 2010. The application sees the database and gives me the following 'SOME ATTACHED FILES EITHER DON'T EXIST OR ARE LOCKED BY OTHER PROGRAM'. The database is not set to exclusive. Not sure what to do at this point.

Please help.
